CAR PARKING There is a free car park less than 200 metres from the Museum - follow signposts to The Haining, next to Dunblane Cathedral. There is also limited free on-street parking and 1 disabled parking bay outside the Museum.
TRAIN STATION Dunblane Station is less than ten minutes' walk, via the High Street, and it has regular direct trains to Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
CYCLING The Museum is on Route 765 on the National Cycle Network, which runs from Stirling to Doune, so please drop by if you are passing through Dunblane. There are bike racks a few metres away, next the gold post box in the High Street.
TOILET We have a toilet for the use of our visitors. It is accessible for wheelchairs.
DISABLED ACCESS Wheelchair access is via our side entrance, please inform the staff so they can open the gate. There is a lift to the upper floor. We also have Museum guidebooks in Braille available.
The Museum is situated at The Cross in Dunblane, across the road from Dunblane Cathedral and Leighton Library, both of which are also free to visit. There is much more to see and do in this ancient city, we are also just a couple of minutes' walk from the Andy Murray gold post box, the Burgh Chambers, the Bishop's Palace ruins, riverside walks and a variety of excellent cafes and shops.
Further afield, Dunblane is on the edge of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and it is only a short drive to Sheriffmuir, the site of the Jacobite battle in 1715.
