Welcome to Dunblane Museum
Each of the themed rooms in Dunblane Museum tells stories from the long history of Dunblane, from a 4000-year-old child's necklace, to the beautiful medieval Dunblane Cathedral, the 1715 Jacobite Battle of Sheriffmuir, World War I, World War II and the replica Atlantic Wall, and the achievements of tennis stars Jamie Murray and Sir Andy Murray (we are just a few steps from his 2012 Olympic Gold Postbox, Dunblane Cathedral and Dunblane's historic Leighton Library, Scotland's oldest purpose-built independent library). Please note that the display in Dunblane Museum about the tennis sporting achievements of Sir Andy Murray and Jamie Murray OBE is currently being redeveloped so is currently unavailable to view.
