Dunblane Museum will be opening from Friday 1st April 2022 from 10.30 am. – 4.30 pm. to mid October’22. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the area.
The Museum will not be opening on a Wednesday or Sunday during this season, and on some days , the hours may need to change unexpectedly due to a lack of volunteers. It is hoped to publish on our website updated information to enable planned visits. Thank you for your forbearance.
Some of our volunteers may continue to wear masks after the end of April, and we fully support them doing so if it makes them feel safer when doing a duty in the Museum.
Each month, artists will be displaying their work in our upstairs gallery, so do come along to support them. However, in the month of May, the Leighton Library will have an exhibition in the gallery and in April , Newton Primary will hold an exhibition in the library area downstairs to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Dunblane Museum applied for and received some items from Treasure Trove from Holmehill and Sheriffmuir digs. Once these items have been sorted and conserved where necessary, they will go on display in the Museum.
