During a recent Trustee meeting via Zoom, we were informed that Dunblane Museum had received a very generous legacy from one of our former volunteers, Gerry Goddard. The Museum Trustees are extremely grateful to be in receipt of this, and it was indeed very kind and thoughtful of Gerry to think of the Museum.

The Trustees are now looking into ways to remember Gerry and are welcoming ideas from Gerry’s two sisters, our volunteers and the Friends of the Dunblane Museum group. We shall also be looking into ways of noting all donors and grant funding organisations who have helped the Museum in the past.

We also received a grant via Stirling Council from the UK Government to help us during the lock-down period.

The Trustees are assuming Dunblane Museum will not open this season, but will of course keep everything under review.
