During 2017, the exterior of the building comprising the Dean’s House, Dean’s Flat, Cockburn House and the 17th century section of the Dunblane Museum was refurbished including necessary repairs, redecoration and the application of a fresh coat of lime wash to the render. Grants and donations towards the cost were received by the proprietors of the building, the Society of Friends of Dunblane Cathedral, from several sources including Historic Environment Scotland.
