Christine McIver – October 2023

Christine graduated from Grays’ in 1984 as a painter/printmaker. She works from her studio at her home in Stirling.

Christine left teaching in 2017 to spend more time painting and printmaking. She has participated regularly in the Forth Valley open studio event and has exhibited in a number of solo exhibitions and is an artist member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists.

Current projects include a series of portraits of volunteers at community owned Bannockburn House, and an exploration of the Jacobite history which links the house with Bonnie Prince Charlie and the 1745 uprising and the 1715 battle of Sheriffmuir. Christine will be exhibiting work connected with these projects in Dunblane Museum through the month of October 2023.
