Exhibition: Rutherglen Ladies Football Club: The Hidden History – April 2023

A fascinating exhibition on the early days of women’s football in Scotland, telling the story of the trailblazers from Rutherglen, a team from the greater Glasgow area who led the way in the 1920s and 1930s. With their superstar captain Sadie Smith – grandmother of the singer Eddi Reader – this exhibition gives them the recognition they deserve for their unique place in history.

The exhibition is touring Scotland, and will be at Dunblane Museum for the month of April 2023. Admission free.
